ConVar trick
This ConVar engine_low_latency_sleep_after_client_tick can add a few tens of FPS, but it can also break interpolation, causing visual stuttering and can increase latency. Therefore, we recommend that you turn this ConVar off again if any problems occur.
Insert into console to turn on.
engine_low_latency_sleep_after_client_tick 1
Also, make sure you have set
fps_max 0
Don't know how to use the console? Here is the guide.Turn off Antivirus
Antivirus software can overuse the CPU by constantly scanning files for viruses. This can slow down game performance and cause a drop in frames per second (FPS).
Other programs
Running other programs while playing a game can reduce the performance required for the game. We recommend turning off all unnecessary applications while playing for the best game performance.
For example
- Google Chrome
- Discord
- Graphic editors
